Really enjoyed books by Kate Morton that I have read previously but this one just drags. Brought it with me to Iceland as a holiday read but it like I Capture the Castle, I really don't get it. Just long, unneeded descriptions and dialogue and characters that seem two dimensional. Looks like I'm going to have to do my usual read 50/100 pages and read something else, do not want to dnf it or get bogged down by it.
