Had made it to Cochis and GUESS WHAT. GIBSOOONNNNNN. HES ALIVE. It was so nice to see him again for real. These last few years here have been a nice calm and quiet relief from the horrors of before, a calm before the next storm… Valka seems to be in paradise haha. I wonder what they will find eventually, they’re not here for nothing…

Something is so off. It could be absolutely anyone i have no idea. Also the Emperor asked, or more ordered, that Had married his daughter Selene. I have no idea where all of this is going but i’m so fckin sat.

Bon, there’s been another attempt on Hadrians life and he covered it up a bit in fear that the people responsible would figure out how close they came. There’s been another attempt investigation conducted by the Grand Inquisitor to ‘find out’ what happened. They indeed found out that someone had bought one of Had’s men. Again there are so many places this can come from that my head is dizzy.

There was a big ball in Hadrians honour, where princess Selena asked for a dance and seemed quite fond of him. There’s something off about all of this, since the beginning of the book. Sending Had to a mission that was almost certainly bound to fail, having an attack on his life on Goddodin, the Emperor and his surroundings being almost too nice too him… Someone’s up to something but i don’t know who or what.

So of course Had won. He very gruesomely decapitated that chimera and the whole army took over the ship. Back at Forum he was given the crown of grass, the highest honour the Emperor can give. The whole ceremony was insane. Just thinking back at his time on Emesh and now he’s leading armies to defeat the Cielcin and being now pretty much the most powerful man besides the Emperor himself. This is fucking insane.

Had is cooked. Long story short, they got attacked my another Cielcin world ship, decided to infiltrate, found the lost ship they were looking for with some survivors in fugue, found a Cielcin chimera on the way, and now they’re in said ship surrounded by a foken army. This is nuts.

So far not much is happening. Had found out that someone did in fact order Udax to kill him. But we’re mot certain how’s hand it was. Had avoided the decimation of the Itchanti Legion and brought them on the mission. They’ve been travelling at warp for a few months now and Had is about to go in fugue

Had was attacked by Irichtani, the native xenobites from Judecca. At first glance it seems only a reactionary act, but was there something deeper there? The attack came out of absolutely nothing. Pallino’s hurt bad. There’s something too good to be true on Godiddin. Something is wrong here but i don’t know what it is…

The Red Company has made it to Goddodin to strategize a plan to scout the area where the ship disappeared. Again there seems to be an ominous drone in my consciousness. Some shit is gonna go down for sure.

So we’re waaaaay in the future now, 300 years and about 80 lived ones for Hadrian Marlow Halfmortal. So far, the Emperor asked him to go investigate a Legion that was wiped out mid warp, possibly by the Cielcin, but Had senses a trap here… Also there are talks of a Cielcin King. A King! Foken hell
