8/21/26 - I am DNF'ing this book for now. I just cannot get into it. I am so confused after the first chapter. A little intrigued so I may pick it back up but I am just mostly confused and lost. At pg 13, I honestly wanted to put the book down and DNF completely. But forced my way through the first chapter and will put it away to try again later.
