Okay so Joel has stopped being such a jerk and they are getting along and the plot is dragging and I've taken a break from this book. I'll get back to it eventually.

Okay, Joel is not as much of a jerk in recent pages but I'm still not a fan. Also not a fan of near drownings that no one goes to the hospital (if cpr is needed, you need to be checked out). Also many of the people in town lack tact and some blatantly disregard confidentiality. I like Sylvie and Rianne so I'm going to keep going for now.

Surprise, surprise, next encounter snd Joel continues to be a jerk and not in the Mr. Darcy way, just the jackass way.

Joel is a nasty fella so far. I don't know why any one would yell at their new neighbor for not being able to control a dog when it was his cat causing the issue. He seems awfully arrogant.
