Cynthia > Status Update

I really want to finish this book but I'm finding it impossible. Friedman's conclusions seem so sensible and yet we live in a time when the leadership in the United States is doing it's best to make the opposite happen. It's hard to come to terms with so I think I'm going to have to put this book aside now at chapter 11. Maybe the tide will turn and I will have enough optimism to finish it.
