The description of her FIRST EVER scene with adam driver kinda makes my stomach churn. I guess she didn’t feel violated by it but i was vicariously. Im gonna make the continent of africa on ur arm may have been improv.Their dynamic is so funny and absurd but right on the cusp of believable as a woman who has tended to date really weird people. I would really love to know what miss dunham thinks about marriage story

I guess its the flippancy with which she describes it which makes it so unnerving. Bc i have also felt that way about confusing but ultimately bad things that happened to me, that you don’t realize should have been unacceptable until way later. I do kind of love how that section is written though. Its jarring. They prepare so meticulously for it (which feels necessary for ofc sex scenes in general but especially whatever is happening between them bc it is so degrading) and the second the camera rolls all that prep is goneeeeeee. Cuz shes a woman. But especially in the early seasons Adam and Hannah are so funny. Absolutely the funniest part of the show. But in the end i guess we’re laughing at Hannah for letting her self get into these situations rather than with her.
