Or would the demons need the man to actually identify as a woman to make deal with him? If they need them to identify as such, then the soul is changeable, not fixed, because that means you need to suddenly realize that your soul is gendered to be able to identify to then be able to make a deal with a demon.

According to the author, demons only work with women, because men are untrustworthy. But a man who thinks he's a woman and calls himself a transwoman (21th century shit btw) would also be able to make a deal with a demon because his "soul is" what? Female? Feminine? What about men from 5 centuries ago who did not identify as women (becaus that a very recent, first-world concept)? Would demons deem them female ?
