Seems that a certain current world leader also likes disparaging the looks of females he politically disagrees with. Things never really change.

It's a disgrace that so many abolitionist groups in the mid 19th century, both male and female, barred the people they were claiming to help, from becoming members.

I knew a little about the "first" women's rights convention in Seneca Falls in 1848. I didn't know a multi racial one happened eleven years earlier based on abolition. This is going to be interesting.
