So now we’re back to cast 1, and they’ve mentioned that Tattersail mentioned the coin falling into someone’s hands… I’m speculating that they’re seeing the coin of Oponn falling into Crokus’ hands in Darujhistan, and that’s where Whiskeyjack and the others are going now so I can’t wait! Also I hope Hairlock is okay, he doesn’t seem right and I think he’s losing control of himself 😶

So this might be my fav book this year… it’s doing something that I don’t see pulled off well often in that the first half of this story is all battle with politics in the background, involving one group of people… and now the 2nd part of the book that I’m currently on is all politics with battle in the background and an entirely different group of people…. But it MAKES sense! I love it 😍

The dialogue in this book could rival ASOIAF dialogue, it is that good. I’m obsessed with this Darijhistan storyline we’ve been getting with the assassins and the street gangs. And I’m wondering what’s up w the moonspawns lord… it seems like he might control the claw?! Which would make sense bc they all seem to be Tiste Andi…

Just got to book 2: Darujhistan. I’m loving the direction this book is going and how we just got introduced to two seemingly one off characters, but everything about the introduction of them and the city and these crime gangs having guild wars amongst themselves is just so dynamic. I can’t wait to see how the cast we’ve already gotten will play into this new setting.

I’m obsessed with this book so far; like it’s definitely an involved read but everything that I’m reading is too good to stop. This very well could be my favorite series, next to ASOIAF of course. I love Tattersails character so much and I was so shook when she’s being attacked by the hound, and Paran, who had been STABBED, comes out and finally wakes up to fight the hound off of her. Insane

I’m obsessed with this… the scene with Paran in the afterlife at the gate of death made of twisted bodies was such a cool visual; and the gods fighting over his fate… and they say he was killed by a God, I wonder if this has something to do with Sorry?!

I’m obsessed w this book… and what the fuck was that cliffhanger! Is Paran dead?!!!! I’m thinking yes but I thought he was doing so well! Tattersail is def my fav character so far and I’m loving the magic and grandiose settings rn

I’m completely obsessed with this story so far!! The magic system is awesome and the battles so far have been insane
