Valerie Book Valkyrie Oh, I miss the team of Siskel & Ebert - irreplacable 😓. Ebert alone is a bit like a single sock or mitten. Looking forward to your review 🧚‍♀️🙋🏼.

Andrea Pastrello Hello Dan how do you recommend this book. ??

message 3: by Dan (new) - added it

Dan Fitzmaurice Valerie, this book wasn’t written by Ebert, although he did write one article. This book contains writings from numerous sources that Ebert compiled and, for the most part, all of the writing is excellent.

Valerie Book Valkyrie Thanks for the clarification Dan ✅, sounds edifying and interesting.
Another book, Opposable Thumbs: How Siskel & Ebert Changed Movies Forever also not authored by Siskel or Ebert, is about their rise to "fame" as a movie reviewing team and how they influenced the movie-going masses has been on my radar for a couple years. Not sure that I'll ever get to it but I sure am looking forward to what you have to say about Rger Ebert's Book Of Film 🧚‍♀️🙋🏼👍.
