This book is emotional damage in a jar, why am I doing this to myself?

Okay, we are just reopening wounds that the first book left!

I do NOTT remember the writing of the first book being as good as this one's. It feels 10x times more heartbreaking, especially that prologue. Oh my gawd. What was that emotional wrecking.
