Ahhh, sigh. A book set in modern times. But not trashy. Pleasant. Comforting, even. 3 friends... Empty nesters who have lost their husbands, in one way or another, decide to reinvent themselves. For a year. And purchase an old, rambling fixer-upper in the country. They sell houses, goods, rent movers, and head to the new parts unknown.
