Chapter 3 ends. I absolutely loved this chapter. It picks up immediately right at Paul, the captain show up. Rudeus goes back to the bar, and they basically share their side of what had happened. Rudues begins and shares his side in the worst way possible, without reading the room even for a bit. He puts too much roses on his retelling which naturally angers Paul since his retelling made it look like he was having

And it is done. There's not much to say about this last part. Princess Ariel escaped the kingdom to enroll in the University of Magic.
Either thoughts. As I already wrote as part of the chapter, I loved the beginning of this volume. I especially loved the part of Paul and Rudeus's reunion. I also love how Eris is becoming warmer and supporting Rudeus. There were so many tender moments and funny ones too 5✨

Extra Chapter I ends: Dead End arrives at the Dragon King Realm, and they go to this shabby restaurant, what seals Nanahoshi style dragon meat.
It wasn't that good, and had some rice and miso, or attempted imitations. Regardless, Rudues rants about the neat afterwards and how it could have been better and has to be dragged out.

Interlude ends. The chapter is about returning home to her home village, where she lacks yhe telepathy to communicate with the other villagers. It makes her feel like an outside.

She also snuggles Rudeus a lot since she thinks that he's cute, as described in Zenith's letter. And she also helps them with all their provisions.
Interestingly, I don't think she was in the anime. Bummer, she seemed really nice. That little interaction between Rudeus and Eris was cute though. Him, teasing her about them running off to get hitched when the sailor assumed their reason for being on the boat

Chapter 7 ends. Dead End delivers the letter to the duke, and he believes it's fake. A woman who looks like Zenith comes in, and it's Therese, the Temple Knight that Eris had saved during her goblin-slaying day. We also learn that's she's Rudeus's aunt, and Zenith had told her a lot about him. Man, I miss Zenith.
Regardless, she helps be allowed to cross with Ruijerd to the Central Continent.

Interlude ends. It basically follows what Eris was doing during her day off. She went off to slay some goblins. During that day, she meets Cliff Grimoire, who is apparently the grandson of the current pope. I didn't know about that. She saves the Blessed Girl from the pope's assassins, and Cliff is so impressed that he proposes, but Eris shoots him down immediately. Eris admire Rudeus.

And now his decision to suddenly also help search for the other family members, despite being the one who was most hurt when Paul disbanded from the party. Even Paul was taken aback when he decided to also help.

One thing I would have loved is seeing aome interaction between Ruijerd and Paul, or maybe more of Norn and Ruijerd since he had already helped her once.
Though Geese is getting more sus. I had already been spoiled that he's a follower of the Man-God, so he's probably doing what that thing says. Despite knowing the disaster, he never told Rudeus about. Even Paul asked why, but he just evaded it.

Rudeus and Paul have a family dinner. Apparently, Rudeus statues are selling good, and there's even a prince, probably Zanoba who likes them. Or was it thr perverted prince that liked Roxy's statues. Either way, Norn still won't look at Rudeus ever since he beat up Paul... Eris forces herself into the family dinner, but doesn't explode, so the dinner goes well. And a week later, Dead End leaves the place.
