I am puzzled by the mistake where a proton is labelled a positron in the book. It is a banal mistanke at the levelig someone forst bein introduced to the concept of a proton could make. It is not believable that the character would make such a mistake as she has a high leve understanding of Physics.

This leaves me puzzled. The final possibility may be - as this I guess is supposed to be a transcript of a psychiatrists conversations with a patient- that the psychiatrist has made this error inbthe transcription. But that a psychiatrist might have a shaky grasp of physics seems a banal insight for such a glaring mistake.
I am puzzled.

Continued: It also seems unlikely that the author has made a mistak as the book seems well-researched and I suppose he has had it proofread by physicists. Such a basic error would not go unnoticed. I wondered if it could be a translation error in the Norwegian translation I read, but the same error is there in the original (the spanish translator, however, had corrected the positron to proton).
