I think I need to watch “Friends”

I may have to DNF this. This is so painful. It’s not like my fiction stories where I can separate fantasy from reality. This is a real human being who lived a real life. Who is no longer in our lives. OW!!!!!

This is making me so sad. Perry uses humor constantly to make light of a horrible situation. He’s funny. It’s working on the reader (me right now) but it’s also making me emotional.

“Broken? Bent.”

This already hits differently knowing the ending. Perry asks himself in the beginning, “Why am I alive?” His only response is God. After undergoing Pain, he reminds himself in the beginning, “I’m alive”. Ouch-my heart.
