This book had me lean to reading pause twice, but I have the principle to not dnf any book this year so let's try again. I think the writing is a little bit hard to adjust, I hope I change my mind this time.

I thought I couldn't find any more reason to hate Stella but gosh the conversation here is so frustrating. One sentence, Luka deserves better. He is everything and Stella is just her, all is about her only.

58% in and still not talking about the main event that is the reason they fake dating, I don't understand the romance here. It has been good to have some mystery to solve here in 50% but then it goes back to the romance and spicy scene again, nah 👎🏻

I can't... I just don't find the chemistry between them both like the female lead kept demanding things when clearly the feeling is already there from the beginning. My motivation now is to finish this so I could give the lowest star of the year, like what do you mean I'm still on 37% 😭

Oh this is hard to read, the pace felt so slow for a book claiming to be cozy. It's page 100 and the event hasn't started yet, the building up is crazy slow. I don't want to dnf this so I ended up skimming huft wish me luck 200 pages more felt like an eternity 😭
