theres just so much story to unfold. And this insane architect from book 1 just said hey this is everything bam and the gave all the details after reading the files once, quite impressive and giving that stereotypical detective moment

Holy shit the amount of incoming information is insane. The child prostitution, the mother as the cult leader, the chairman being weak and timid, the cult figure being shamed for her body. It’s actually really good. Also makes me sad she did consider her a friend at girls school. Poor kids.

It’s all connecting. Story 11. All the floor plans they had. Crazy. The dolls. The woman. The company. The garden view house. The starving abused children.

Oooo story 10. It’s connecting all the dots. I like it. It also pulled a go back and review my notes moment. Wait this is kinda hype. Where is it going to lead.

Story 9. Oooo it’s building up and I like it. I find it quite funny that the children of both houses think their own father is the perpetrator. And the authors like nah there’s gotta be a third lmao. Wait and see. Watch as this connects to the cult that would be crazy. Mark my words. I’m building expectations.

Story 8. Somewhat acceptable. Again very sad when children are involved. And it connects back to story 7. Not sure what the dad’s role was in story 7. Poor main interviewee how he knew his dad had used him for alibi in murder and grew up acknowledging that. But she seems okay now so that’s good. Looking forward to the next few stories.

Story 7. Poor kid. I just felt sorrow and empty for the about of abuse and neglect the child had gone through. And he’s only 9 and probably even younger since initial neglect. I even questioned if the mother tried to starve the child just to get child support from “uncle”. There are probably numerous children out there experiencing this. I pray for them truly.

OKAY. Now story 6 is goated. I LOVED THIS CHAPTER THE MOST THUS FAR. And it connects to story 1, with the doll… her mom was in a cult. Connects with story 4. The rich man and her daughter. And I loved the puzzles of the picture and put together. I’m excited to see more connections throughout the books. This book is longer than I had imagined :D but better than book 1 for sure.

Story 5. Did not expect to connect with story 3. It adds a little bit of fun but honestly it’s still meh. I do like that they explained a house’s age when new renovation is done. Which I think it’s absolutely scam but I get it. My interest goes to the person who figured this all out with the watermill and then marked star on the associated house! Don’t disappoint me!

I think story 4 started out boring but actually got a decent ending. Not that it’s superior but when compared to previous ones it’s good enough. Main character is definitely traumatized from the story and the concept of rich hierarchy. But honestly even thought she’s not rich rich she was still rich. I just feel sad that she has to feel that way the rest of her life and comparing to those who were born rich.

The third story got me ??? Like what. It was so short and it just feels so weird in a bad unentertaining way. The author didn’t even research more about this watermill. He just stole a page from the book and then tried to make it sound scary and creepy but in fact it’s just whatever.
