Agent Nichol is back?!😰
As soon as I finish the chapter, my initial shock was that Nichol was brought back in to Inspector Gamache and his team. I don’t know why they brought her back in, but apparently it was supposed to be some sick joke but knowing her I seriously doubt that. What I found curious is that it relates to the Arnot Case… what exactly happened in that case I wonder?🧐

I’m glad we got to see more of Armand Gamache’s wife Reine-Marie in the book. She is a fitting contrast to the detective.😊

I have never thought that I would feel so much hate in such a fictional character like CC De Poitiers 🤬
She’s absolutely the type of person that I hate to be around with. Not only is she an uncaring mother and unfaithful wife but she is absolutely a terrible human being.
