This one starts off swinging! And just about all the characters who we've met a in over their heads in "Holy Shit" trouble! Griff's been thrown in the deep end, Abdul has had his life or death stolen from him, and Archaiaedae and 88 have just had everything taken away and forced into slavery. The concepts of scans and the crèches are so extraordinarily creepy. I'm 13% in and this has been amazing so far.
