Definitely one of the stronger Alien books so far, enjoying the worldbuilding. That said, it feels a bit incongruent with Prometheus with how dire things on Earth are. I know that matches the wider Xenoverse, but at this point in time timeline, it feels out of place. But overall, tone and setting does a good job of showing how dire things are.

Good grief, what is it with Rosenthal's shower fetish? Did Foster look at that one scene in the film and extrapolate an entire character trait? Well, that aside, it's still okay. The Earthsavers seem a bit weird - Earth is dying, but their main bugbear is the Covenant because of the Prophet's dreams. Okay, and? What's your plan beyond that? On the other hand, captures the grunge of a dying world sufficiently. :(

Did 22nd century ninjas just storm the headquarters of Weyland-Yutani? I mean, really? Well, that piece of insanity aside, still decent.

It's okay, more here for the worldbuilding than hostage situations.
