Yo how the hell we gonna wrap this all up… This is so exciting but PERHAPS this could have been two books… Maybe three with EVERYTHING happening

I wasn’t expecting this book to have a mystery aspect to it, and honestly I love it so far! Though it is cutting it veeeery close to the end. I feel like a lot of the pages that were spent describing the fae world and specific fae could have instead been spent on laying out the traps for a story like this

Curious about where the rest of this book is gonna go, I like learning more about Shrike and Wren. Honestly it feels like they could yap back and forth forever and I'd eat it up

I am the world’s biggest liar. The plot is NOT lacking, it’s so fun. I feel like as a reader it is so easy to get caught up in the whirlwind fantasy romance that Wren is as well, so the little details slip past and are usually forgotten in the next few pages, until they’re brought back! I love it!

This book reminds me so much of Breezespells and Bridegrooms, which makes me realize why I like this sort of book so much. It's queer, it's cute, it's fun, it's fantasy! I love it! The characters are endearing; their relationship makes me smile from ear to ear. The plot lacks a little, but honestly, it's hardly noticeable while you're reading. I just like it a lot so far! Can't wait to keep going!

They're so freaky in a fun way? Like, yeah, it's rushed, and their first official intimate scene together doesn't feel as earned, but also I like that they are giving more personality to each other as they go on. Lowkey, I don't understand much of these magical rituals and what they're doing for Strike, but I dunnooo, I don't care. This book is fun, and while it takes parts seriously, it makes you go aweeee a lot!
