I still don’t understand the Why. Why is there a war? Why do they need the claiming/bonding to happen every month and on a specific day? Why is dinner the way he is? Why did he get caught (and his sister) in the first place?

Again w the title.

This feels…hollow. Like the text is just a vehicle/tool to deliver tropes. Like the tropey parts are good but I wish they flowed together in unison with the text.

Okay, we are fully acknowledging that she has powers now but we still have no idea what they are other than the fact that she was involved in her family’s deaths somehow? I don’t get it. Now we’re blending powers with sinner and we’re still not concerned?
