I’m halfway thru and the number of times the author has described their eyes is obnoxious. His sapphire orbs, his mahogany eyes, his eyes are portals, his fathomless blue eyes, his piercing hazel eyes, his eyes are wells…. I wish I had started keeping count from the beginning.
