I don‘t think I‘ve recently read a book that sucked me into its world that quickly. I love the desert melancholy vibe. It‘s similar to Gideon the 9th, but while that was black, this one is more red, if we are doing synesthesia. I can always sympathise with a fallen drunkard main character.
