Ok so I think it’s going well! I went in, ordered some fries, and then asked if there was a manager I could talk to about job opportunities. The cashier said he’d go get the manger who had just gone back with someone else looking to be hired. The cashier came back out with an application to me and said I could give it to him when I was finished. I couldn’t fill it out in time because I had to leave to pick my sisters up from something, but I asked and the cashier said it was perfectly fine for me to turn it in another day.

So that’s the technical side of things. Here’s the…interesting?… part. I think the cashier was also flirting with me?? Idk I have trouble telling if people are flirting or just being nice. But he looked around my age, and was making a lot of eye contact and smiling at me a lot. And calling me “Miss Eva.” And then when I left after asking if I could turn in the application another day, he called back something like “Good luck, Eva! I hope it goes well!” The fact that he remembered my name after a full 25 minutes of serving other people is a little unusual. And I also remember seeing him before and feeling like he might’ve been flirting. So anyway, if I DO get hired, I’m gonna have to casually mention the fact that I have a boyfriend around him
