This book has been incredibly eye-opening and really puts into perspective the experiences of Gazans during the war. Her role as a journalist as well as an instagram ambassador to Gaza really showed how isolated the Gaza strip is to the rest of the world, as by design. So far, the book has shown how Gaza can be a normal, almost functional area capable of producing educated young people.
