These first eight chapters are the perfect appetizer to hook the reader in this gothic story. II really enjoy the world that this story take place in and the eighth chapter just leaves you on a cliffhanger for the rest of the story! ’m psyched that I was lucky enough to also get the full electronic copy from Berkley XO and can’t wait to finish it.

I love the banter. Kit is so easy to just enjoy as a reader. He brings such levity even though he can be brooding and is a demon. Tripp is completely hilarious. This book has been so fun.
