The pages I've read are more fillers than anything. Kud'ar Mub'at and his subassembler finished talking. The way the book is written is where are two perspectives, a present story-line and a past leading up to that. There are two other characters in the present timeline, Neelah and Dengar. Dengar is a bounty hunter, but less known. Neelah can't remember her past but she was basically a sort of entertainment slave.

After Zuckass and the leader of the Bounty Hunters' Guild talked, the leader was then killed by Bossk, since Bossk actually survived the mission. The other members of the Guild had already begun making a new bounty hunters group and just needed to "retire" the leader. Then Kud'ar Mub'at, an arachnid-like creature who deals in that business, heard about this news and is pleased to hear that this happened.

My memory on the previous chapters is a little hazy, but for now, a group of bounty hunters have just come back from a successful mission. Zuckuss, a new bounty hunter, was tasked with witnessing the death of the Bounty Hunters' Guilds' leaders' son, Bossk. Now the leader of the Guild and Zuckuss are discussing the future of the Guild and what is in line for the other members.
