This next segment of the book has been the most interesting so far. As the kids are all stranded, it's super intriguing to see the interactions between them as conflicts begin to arise and the kids begin to fall apart. With new tragic news, they start to lose hope, but some of them stand up and get everyone together. From what I've read so far, it makes me feel like there's a foreshadowing of a doomsday scenario.

This next portion of the book is even more riveting than the last, as several new things are introduced to the kids' scenario. The kids now face more natural disasters, with a chemical spill that affects each person differently. It is very interesting to see how it will unfold as they now have to start rationing their food. They have to start thinking about whether they will get out or stay for a long time.

The main character, Dean, panics after the bus crashes and kids get crushed by the seats. There are only six kids who survived the bus crash. In his little brother's school bus, the driver crashed the bus into a store in order to escape the deadly hail. All of those children are safe, and the driver, Ms. Wooly, saves Dean and the five others. Everyone of all ages seeks shelter in the grocery store.

So far, the beginning of the book has been very intriguing, leaving me on a cliffhanger. It starts with a high school kid getting in a car crash in his school bus. Even though I have only read 7 pages, I am already hooked. I cant wait to read more.
