I’m really worried about how much Rowan is ignoring red flags, especially knowing there is a murder about. But jack is cute. I hate that kid Ellie, she switches up too much. This chapter was diving more into the kids lives.

The way Ruth Ware wrote these chapters specifically made me feel a lot of confinement, stress and almost claustrophobia. She’s really good at entrapped scene writing and story development. I’m really getting excited for the climax of the book. I hate the creepy husband.

So far, Rowan our main character is getting a lot of hints that she should be avoiding that babysitting job like the last letter from the previous sitter. We already know what happened because she’s in jail for murdering a child, but I’m excited to see how the story turns out.

I just started reading Turn of the Key on August 10, and so far I’m really intrigued by the mystery of the ominous letters our “protagonist” is writing to Mr. Wrexham. We (the reader) know she’s in an all women’s prison in Ireland and that she’s suspected of murdering a child.
