Turns out that the game is deadly ruthless cruel and eventually teammates will have to turn on eachother leaving the last man standing.

Jane meets Athena and she gives off slithery snake vibes. Athena is nice to Jane and Jeb aka Junior and I believe it was just for her to bring them on her side along with Sebastian and Noah for a competitive game that Shandy has set up. Shandy makes an announcement that she is retiring and giving away her Sunshine Summer Camp property to the lucky winner.

Jane finds out that Shandy, who is the wealthy owner of sunshine that her husband Barkley died and his belongings and money from their joint bank account is emptied. So she is under the assumption that Shandy killed her own husband.

Jane's grandparents insist that Jane become a summer camp counselor as a school teenager herself to save up some money and go shopping for things. She is not really popular among her peers, has low esteem and she takes offense to alot of things. She has a victimized mindset.
