I hear the later books get much much much more bonkers and batshit. I am curious about your opinions. Ngl, too, your reviews make me want to read the books.
I do think that they're worthwhile, or at least, the ones that I've revisited so far. Books 1-3 make a nice, tidy trilogy, so I think that if you wanted to stop there and not get involved in the Lestat-does-The-Divine-Comedy of it all, you could.
