A little more dynastically focused than I’d like, especially with her only really dedicating about a paragraph to most kings other than a handful of noteworthy ones which are already famous. Chapters 1 & 2 were basic overviews that I think anyone who’s taken a course on Anthropology & Egypt would know so I didn’t feel too enlightened, but 3 & 4’s focus on Kush + religion have been fun and taught me new things
