I wanted to love this cozy witchy book, but it just didn’t hook me. The writing is a little clunky and way too wordy. If this was 200 pages shorter, I might have had better luck with it. I didn’t really care for the protagonist either. I can see why people enjoy this book, but it wasn’t for me.
