This guy kind of sucks. The only thing that really kept me until the end was how vibrant the prose was, but other than that, it was genuinely difficult to root for Theseus at any point in time. I was more interested in many of the side characters who seemed more likeable overall. But I'm glad I read it! It's intriguing to read it as a historical autobiography of sorts, rather than as a folktale.
