There is no good guy or bad guy in this story. All the characters are a mix of both. We finally have the detective POV in the third part of the book. I cannot wait to find out if he will be able to sort out the truth from the lies.

I wrapped my head around the idea that Lily has a screw loose but now it explains why she would offer to kill a stranger's wife. I like the change of POV, it's a genius move from the author. I expect to be surprised until the very last page of the book. I guess I will read this in one sitting because there is no way I can go to sleep without knowing what will happen. It's too good!

That's what I call a plot twist! I have the feeling that the second part of the book will be packed with action and intrigue.

This is really, really good. I like the fact that Ted talks about what's going on in the present time and that we get to know Lily better through her flashbacks. I cannot wait for the two POV to meet (if it happens). The summary of the book on Goodreads mentions a detective, I am eager to read about him as well.
