haven't really learned anything new from this book, but it's reminding me of a few important truths that led me to a career journalism in the first place
one is the fact that the federal government started a racist campaign against black people and immigrants to sway how americans' felt about public housing to then use that as an excuse to destroy much of the public housing stock across the US
