This narrator reminds me of literally all my least favorite people. I keep thinking I’m gonna DNF, but I can’t. Which I suppose says something about how compelling the writing itself is, even if I can’t stand the characters.

Narrator is a bummer. Self pitying. Myopic. Paranoid. I’m having a hard time connecting with her. Rare for me.
