the hellie part hurts even more in this rereading

oh I'm having so much fun with this rereading!

nononoonononono I need Darlington back, I don't accept he's gone I won't, I refuse to do it.

also, dawes, my daughter, I love her. I love how her relationship with Alex glowed up, how they help and care for each other.

I hope Sandow pays for everything he did.

Finally, I got to read what really happened to Alex, in that apartment, to hellie and len. I didn't knew hellie, but her death, and that "revenge" scene, hit me bad. I felt so bad for Alex, the only person who actually cared about her is dead, and had such a horrible one, btw.

And then the Darlington situation. I'm glad I'm reading more and more about it, I miss him.

Dawes is adorable, I'm in love.

Alex helping Mercy, and talking to her about her own experience, encouraging her to stay in college, was just... nice? i mean I don't know how to describe it but, I loved it, a lot. This boys, ugh, they deserved so much worse.

also Alex saying Darlington that he either stopped or fucked her while they were sleeping sjsjjsj I won't lie I was kind of expecting something haha just kidding... unless

I'm finally reading this again, I've missed them.

Alex making a deal with the Gray, that was cool, I mean I'm scared of what can happen, but still, I love how she takes risks and refuses to listen to anyone, bc she trust herself. Or she's too lost, and just does what she thinks Darlington would do bc he's the only figure she kind of trusted u know.

Also Darlington's childhood explained a lot, crappy parents, ofc.

Darlington hallucinating with Alex, boy I didn't see that one coming, that's for sure.

So much happened in the last pages, I'm kind of liking the characters more and more, specially Alex. Most of the time I have trouble liking the main character, but I'm really warming up to Alex. Reading about her life and her past... changed everything and nothing at all.

this is really good, I mean it's original and even tho the chapters are too long for my taste lol, they're still good. I'm already getting the hang of it, how things work, and understanding what kind of people Alex and Darlington are, theur dynamic, and just little by little, getting to know them.

I'm still a little bit confused but daMN this is good
