guys there’s this boy i met at state testing last year and he’s a year older than me and also homeschooled and he works at the library and also has scoliosis and we have similar interests (he likes to talk so that’s how i know so much about him although i’ve never actually spoken to him lol).

quinnlyn anyways, i saw him today for like the third time since state testing and we always make eye contact and i think he recognizes me, but i’ve never talked to him, and i want to be friends with him so badly.
what should i do?? 😭

Kalliope Ormond Hey Quinnlyn, I know this has been up for a few days but no one has commented yet so I'm sorry it's taken me a while to message! I'd just go up and say hi. If he likes to talk, than conversation should be easy, but if you're nervous, I find it super helpful to think up a list of questions to ask people before you start to chat. I totally understand your panic; boy, have I been in that situation before!! Even if you aren't feeling confident, put on a smile and act like you are. You got this!! :)
