yaaaaay, happiest reading! Totally get it, book one might be a bit confusing and takes some time to sort through characters and plot, but the story gets soooo good from there ❤️🩹 Neil deserves all the good things in the world!

I really loved Neil's character, but everything else was heavily underwhelming. Where was the gripping story I was promised to see? The found family? The gay stuff? And that ending? Nah. I was so excited to read it and ended up horrified. But so many people act like this series is a blessing or something, so I decided to give it another chance. Besides, as I said, I really loved Neil and was curious about his story. I genuinely hope that you're right and that I'm not making a mistake! Anyways, thank you so much for commenting! The only character I actually liked and I'm genuinely curious about his story. I had many questions about him after I finished reading book one, hopefully book two will clear some things. And that my reading experience this time will be way better than before. Fingers crossed! 🤞

Hopefully it's like Red Rising. I wasn't impressed with book one of that series either, but the rest of the books? Masterpieces. Maybe this series is similar in that regard, who knows? Hopefully it is, but we will see!
