HOLY SHIT

-more letters
-the daughter and her friend discover her mom’s journals and she keeps them bc the same paper is used for the letters she’s receiving
-the mom found out ben was cheating w that girl. mom followed her home when she caught her and she threatened to let everyone know the truth about the barn fire
-mom saw dad go over to her house
-next book was about a women being murdered

-daughter got another letter
-it was about her moms first book and the inspiration on where it came from
-mom mentioned a girl came into her fathers life that year she wrote it
-mom runs into some girl at the coffee shop who she knew from the past and john, moms bestfriend and coffee shop employee, knows her too supposedly
-mom gets home and finds a note that says “i know what you did to those boys”

-the mom has died and she was an author
-daughter doesn’t have a close relationship nor is very found of her
-daughter saw a man follow her dad and caught them speaking but dad brushed it off
