her point about working class antecedents is too binary- you need to mention them not necessarily to show your working class credentials but to acknowledge their role and influence- good or bad. She is imposing her middle class guilt. Secondly, she equates private school and Oxford thereby not seeing those who have got into Oxford against the odds.
