Not my fav genre but might just listen to the next one bc it’s an easy story to follow

Love that this book is clearly drawing parallels to our nation’s history of mistreating and segregating children seen by society as monsters because they are “different” (e.g. indigenous people, African-Americans, ppl w disabilities,etc)

Not sure how I’m feeling about the audiobook narrator yet
