I know I’m being dramatic but how is there still 4 hours left on this audiobook. Like what could possibly happen. And I will not hesitate to leave a one star review no matter how well written this book is if she’s made the killer Captain Wentworth. Or Mr. Darcy. Or Mr. Knightley.

We press on. But the whole letter Marianne just got? CANCELLED. NEVER HAPPENED.

😑. It’s been a while since I’ve felt so betrayed by a book. Eugh.

Having gone into this book blind, I can’t believe I’m just now realizing there is a very high probability that one of Austen’s characters is the killer. Please. Not my Emma. Or Knightley. Or Darcy. Or ANY OF THEM 😭
