Finished “Dragon in the Sea.” I really liked this one. Lots of specific details that help paint a picture of the world & the characters. It was just getting started when it ended though, & the ending felt like a cliffhanger. I would read a whole novel with this story. I’m also not sure what the title has to do with the story…

I finished the short story “Rat Race”. I thought it was funny that the first couple paragraphs tell you pretty much exactly what’s going to happen (kinda like how “Dune” & “Dune Messiah” do). It was interesting, but the last third of the story was just people telling us what happened elsewhere. I would’ve preferred seeing it instead of just hearing about it. Good overall though!
