FINALLY something is actually happening and I feel tension. Not really horror, but gods this book took its sweet time getting here.

Where is the tension? Where is the horror? Lee needs to talk to a psychiatrist.

If a horror novel is going to be this slow paced, I expect tension to build alongside it. Yet I feel no tension. More… meandering, knowing that my major question will be answered eventually.

This book is more mystery than horror. And my gods the pace is slow. I can’t tell if I’m reading it because I like it, or because I want to understand the mysteries. Spooky season starts on Tuesday, so it better get spooky by then!
