Really struggling to pick this book back up, not because it’s bad but because it’s so revealing of the real things that happen and have happened and will continue to happen. I would say take this as a trigger warning if you have grown up in an immigrant family and faced challenges because of that. And I would highly recommend to people who have not grown up this way to read it.
