I've started reading a letter or two from this compilation every morning with a cup of coffee. In every personal letter there's some shred of wisdom that prompts you to consider its application to your own life, even as a person of the 21st century. I consider it a meditative shortcut to start my day off right, and on the days that I skip this, my producitivty and clarity suffers.
