Very interesting, the narrator of this book is a novelist looking back on an event in her youth, and occasionally making fourth-wall references to her writing career that clearly allude to Chris Bojalian’s previous writings. I feel conflicted and curious about why he wrote this narrator as a woman. Autobiographical fiction?
